Suddenly I woke up. I look at my watch; it shows 2.00 o’clock in the morning. And I saw my balcony door is wide open. As far as I know, I already close it before I go to sleep just now. Slowly I walk towards the balcony. I am so surprise when I saw someone standing there. He was standing looking towards the city. Slowly I took my baseball bat that I put near the door. I am just about to hit his head, suddenly he turn and look at my direction. I was so shock when I saw his face. It was Angus. The baseball bat falls from my hand.‘What….what are you doing here? How did you come up here?’Thousands of questions playing in my mind. He just smiles at me. He walks slowly towards me.‘Look, I don’t know how did you come up here and what are you doing at my place at this hour? If you are not leaving, I am going to call the police.’I am just about to go inside suddenly he pull my hand. I try to pull my hand but he holds it tighter.‘Let go of my hand!! It’s really hurt. You are hurting me!!!’I want to scream but he covers my mouth. He holds my body so that I can’t move. Slowly he whisper to my ear,‘I will let you go but promise me that you won’t scream.’I nod my head. Slowly he let go of me. Quickly I run and pick up my baseball bat that laying on the floor. I pointed the baseball bat towards him.‘Tell me what are you doing here?’He smiles at me… (Gosh!! I really hate to see his face when he smiles. Surely he really likes to smile. Really tempt me)‘I just want to check on you. Are you doing okay?’‘Huh? Check on me? What do you mean?’‘I mean just want to make sure that you are doing fine in this place.’‘I really don’t get you. Of course I am doing fine. Not until you show up in the middle of the night and breaking into my apartment. And I believe that you are the one that leave the flower on my dressing table the other night. Isn’t it?!’Slowly he walks towards me. I can see his pitch black eyes, looking direct towards me. He touches my hand and slowly his hand run through my hand and to my face. I just stand there like a doll. I didn’t make a move even an inch. All I can hear is my own breath. He touches my face. Gosh, his hand so soft. Like a baby’s skin. He touches my lips. He kisses my neck. I can feel something sharp on my neck. It’s really hurt every time he sucks it. Suddenly I remember the story that I used to read. Regarding about the vampire. I can’t believe that this creature is standing right in front of me and now he seems like sucking my blood from my vine. Suddenly I feel so weak and I black out.Suddenly I woke up because of my alarm clock. My body feels so weak that morning. I feel that I want to get sick. I can feel that my body temperature really hot. Gosh... What is happening to me? I throat feel sore. I drink plenty of plan water. But still it really hurt. So I decided to call Anne. Have to let her know that I feel so sick and cannot come to work that day. She told me that she will come and see me during lunch time. After talking with her for a while, I wash and change my pjs. While I am brushing my teeth I realize that there is a mark on my neck. It was two black marks. I can’t remember where I get it. As far as I remember, there is no mark on my neck before I go to sleep last night. Nah!!! May be I get it while I sleep last night. I just change my cloth. I can’t find my comb so I search for it at my dressing table. My eyes caught the flower that I leave on the dressing table the other day. Suddenly I remember Angus. I touch my neck. I can feel those marks with my fingers. Suddenly I remember what happen last night. He was here. But I still can’t figure out what is he doing here. I remember Oli. Quickly I grab my cell phone and begin to dial her number.‘Hello....’‘Babe, it’s me gene. What are you up too?’‘Me? I am at my aunt’s house. I have to baby sit Amanda. Last minute plan. Why? Is there anything I can help?’‘Hm…. I really need you advise right now. Well, do you still remember the thing that I used to tell you? I mean, the thing you think that it’s just a dream?’So I told her everything regarding about the flower and what happen last night.‘You got to be kidding me. How did he climb up there? It really didn’t make any sense. So what are you going to do?’‘I don’t know. I don’t have any idea what is happening right now.’‘Are you sure you are okay?’‘Yeah…. I think so. Anne will be coming later. So how was Amanda? Is she good? Really miss her. Wish I can play with her again.’I decided not to tell Oli about the mark on my neck. Something stops me to telling her about it. So we chat for a while.The time shows 11.45am when I heard somebody knock on my door. Slowly I open it and Anne standing there with a plastic bag that full with I don’t know what is in side there.‘Whoa!! What did you bring? Why so many stuff? Like I don’t have food here....’‘Girl, this is healthy food. Like I don’t know what kind of junk food you have here.’I just laugh and help her to carry the plastic bag to my kitchen table. So together we prepare our lunch. We have a chat after having our lunch.‘So, you are not going back to the library?’‘Nahh… I told them I am taking half day off. Plus I have to baby sit someone....’‘Huh?’I look at her and I put down my mug.‘What do you mean by baby sit someone?’She looks at me and smile.‘Baby sit you, you spoil brat!!’I took the pillow beside me and throw it towards her.Suddenly I remember what happen last night. So I told her everything. She looks at me. Looks like she really shock to hear what had happen.‘Did you call the police?’‘Hello dear….I was black out after that. All I know I wake up this morning he’s already gone.’‘What about this morning? You should call the police this morning.’‘I don’t know. He didn’t take anything.’‘Girl wakes up!!!! I know that he didn’t take anything but at lest you make a police report so that he cannot get near you.’I just sit there watch her talking. I can’t think any more. I don’t know what I should do.‘Okay, I promise I’ll make a report when he did it again.’‘Yeah…. Glad to hear that. But you have to really promise me gene. I am afraid that he will do something bad to you.’‘And he already did something to me….’I talk to my self. Anne didn’t hear what I say and she just drinks her coffee and continues to watch tv.Anne’s cell phone suddenly rings. It was Robert. They talk for a while.‘Sorry gene. I have to go. I almost forget that I have a plan with Robert this evening. He wants to bring me to see his parent tonight. We are going to have dinner together. Are you sure you okay if I leave you alone?’‘Babe, I am a big girl. Don’t worry about me. I can take care of my self. You just go and have fun with you future in-law .hehe!!!’She throws the pillow at me.

night creature (part 3)
Today is Saturday. Well, as usual many people will come today, especially students. Sometimes it really irritated me when some of them don’t know how to take care of the books that they have borrowed. These kids are really irresponsible. Some times I wonder how they parent teach them to take care of thing. This people can come as early as 11am. Everything is under control. The clock shows 1.00pm when Anne come and ask me whether I would like to join her for lunch.
‘Hey gene, would you like to join me and Robert for lunch?’
I look at my watch,
‘Hm… I don’t think that I am hungry at the moment. Why don’t you guys just go ahead? May be if my tummy started to sing a song, I’ll send you a message to buy me something to eat. Okay?’
Anne laugh
‘Alright then. Just message me later if you need anything.’
I just smile at her as she walks away.
Then leave me alone again at my desk doing my work.
After 20 minutes later, my tummy started to grumble.
‘Man… I am so hungry. I need food!!!’
I am talking to my self. Then I remember Anne. I take my mobile phone and started to write a message to her.
‘There… and after this just wait for her to bring me my burger.’
I am mumbling to my self when suddenly my book falls down on the floor.
‘Oh man!! What is this?’
I bent down to pick up the book. And when I stand up, I was shock to see there’s a man standing in front of my desk.
‘Shit!! You scared the hell of me!!’
I look at him with my big eyes.
He just stands there and looks at me with no impression.
‘Hey, I know you. Your name is Angus right? The guy that ask about Anne rice’s book the other day.’
He smiles at me when he heard that I still remember his name.
‘So what do you want this time?’
‘Hm…did the person return the book already?’
I take a beep breath,
‘Well, I am sorry to inform you that the person hasn’t returned the book yet.’
His face impression look really disappointed. Part of me feels so sad to see that face. But hey, I’m still in the mid of reading the book. I don’t care.
‘Okay then. So in that case, I have to wait again.’
I smile at him,
‘Don’t worry. I’ll call you once the person returns the book. I promise.’
He put his hands in his pocket and smiles at me
‘Alright then. And you still have my number right?’
‘Huh? Oh!! Yes!! Yes!! I still have it. It’s here, in my book.’
I pointed at my journal.
‘Okay then. I’ll wait for your call.’
And he just walks away.
‘That is so close!’
I talk to my self. After that I just continue to do my work. After half and hour later, Anne come with my burger..
‘There, burger that you want. Double cheese with extra chili sauce.’
She put it in front of me.
‘Alright then. Thanks a lot. I owe u girl.’
I take the burger and put it aside. So I continue my work for a while. After a while, I feel like want to eat at the park. So I grab my burger and my bag.
‘Anne, I feel like want to take fresh air. So I’ll be at the park. If you need anything just call me, okay?’
Without looking at me, Anne answer me,
‘Okay. Just don’t forget your time girl.’ Then she laughs.
I just smile at her. It just takes 10 minutes for me to arrive at the park. I wonder what Oli do right now. I decided to give her a call and we talk for a few minutes because she still has a lot of work to do. So I continue to eat my lunch. Suddenly I think about the thing that happens this morning. It still puzzles me. While I am still puzzles my self, suddenly
‘Hi!’
When I look on my left side, there was Angus. He was sitting beside me without me knowing it. I look at him.
‘When did you come? I didn’t realize that you are there?’
He just smiles at me. Gosh, surely he likes to smile....
I talked to my self in my mind.
‘Well, every body thought that I like to smile. It’s just not only you who thinks like that’
Whoa!!! Surely he is a mind reader.
I just continue to eat my burger until it finish. And I don’t dare to think of anything else. I just make my self relax and don’t think of anything. Just let my mind blank. Thank god I practice yoga.
‘I thought that you only have one copy of that Anne Rice book. And how come you have another copy of it?’
Suddenly I stop chewing and look down at my bag. The book was on the top of it.
Gosh!!! I forgot to put it back inside my bag. Whoa!! Plus there is a library cop on the top of it. MY GOODNESS!!!! I am speechless... Don’t know what to say.
‘I…..’
He took the book and look at me,
‘If you still not finish reading this, why don’t you just tell me that you still read it? You don’t have to lied to me girl.’
Gosh!! I am thoughtless. Seriously.
‘Okay, I am sorry if I lie to you.’
He looks at me and laugh,
‘Well, tell me when will you finish reading the book?’
‘Huh? To tell you the truth, I also don’t know when I will finish reading it’
I just put the book inside my bag and started to leave the place. Suddenly he pulls my hand to stop me to make a move.
I look at him and
‘Well sir, if you don’t let go of my hand, I will scream.’
So he just let go of my hand and quickly I leave the place.
Gosh!! What is he thinking? His action really makes me pissed off. Is he crazy or what?
When I am arrive at the library there not so many people. Good, I can continue my work. I try to find Anne, but she’s not at her desk. I wonder where she’s gone. So I just put my stuff and continue my work. After half and hour, Anne come with her big smile. I look at her with my question face.
‘What’s wrong with you? What with the big smile?’
‘Nothing…’
But the smile is still there on her face. She took the book that is on the top of my table and flips the pages.
‘I know there must be something that you hide from me girl. Just tell me what is it?’
She seems like can’t keep the secret. She put the book down and
‘Gosh, I can’t believe that this is happening to me!!’
‘What?’
‘Robert wants me to be his wife. Oh my goodness!!! I really can’t believe it. He proposes to me just now. And….’
She shows me her wedding ring. Whoa! That’s surely really big ring. I stand up and hug her.
‘That’s good for you dear. I am sure this is what you’ve been waiting for these 4 years in relationship. Now he’s your forever. Congratulation to the both of you.’
She looks at me with her teary eyes.
We talked for a while after that we continue our own work.
‘Hey gene, don’t you want to go home? It’s late already.’
It’s Anne.
When I look at my watch, it shows almost 6.00pm. It’s late already. So I pack my things and ready to make a move. So I meet her at the entrance.
‘Well, see you tomorrow girl. Enjoy your evening.’
She smile and hug me.
‘You too, dear.’
So I just make a move. I walk slowly. Surely this evening is really cold. I still keep thinking what had happen between me and Angus. He really scares me. I just couldn’t believe his action towards me. I arrived at my apartment within 15 minutes later. There it was. The flower that still bothers me, lying on the top of my dressing table. I took it and put it near to my nose. The sweet smell is still there. I wonder who put it there. Really puzzle me. I just leave it there, so I just take my shower. After taking my shower, I make my self a simple dinner. After finish taking my dinner, I decided to continue to read the book. The clock shows 11.00 pm. No wonder I feel so sleepy. So I jump in my bed, so cozy. Automatically, I just fall asleep. Suddenly I can feel someone playing with my hair. I try to open up my eyes, but cannot. Even how hard I try to open it. I can hear that person breathing. It’s so near to my ear. Slowly I can feel that he touch my neck. Once again I try to open up my eyes but still can’t. My god, please help me. I keep praying in my heart. I don’t how did I fall asleep after that.
‘Hey gene, would you like to join me and Robert for lunch?’
I look at my watch,

night creature (part2)
While at the library, the visitor is not so many like yesterday. Thank god for that. This will give me enough time for me to finish my work on time. Last night incident still bother me. I try to forget and consecrates on my work. After a while, a guy come to my desk and asks my help to find a book. I know this guy. He always comes to the library and borrowed a book. If I am not mistaken, he always borrowed a book about vampire. Hm… that’s interesting. I also love to read book about them. Night creatures.
‘Hello... Can you help me to find this book? Its called Merrick and the author are by Anne rice.’
He handed over a piece of paper to me and smile. I take a deep breath and slowly let it go.
‘Well, I believe that we only have 1 copy of this book. And it has been borrowed by someone else.’
His face looks very disappointed when he heard the answer that I gave to him.
‘Hm…can I know when will this person finish reading the book?’
Okay. This sound desperate you see... He asking me when will this person finish reading the book??? Well…well…
‘I am sorry sir. I can’t tell you that. This person might come and asking to extend the time to borrowed the book.’
He looks away after heard what I said.
‘Well, nothing much you can do then. But if the person returns the book, would you mind to contact me.’
He really believes in what I told him. I smile at him…
‘Yes, I will call you once the person returns the book.’
I handed him a piece of paper and a pen for him to write his contact number and his name. Well…well… his name is Angus Emlyn. Sound unique. Scottish and welsh. Hm… that’s interesting. He passes me the paper and smile at me. He turns and walks away.
Whoosh!! That’s it. I’ve lied to him. Actually I am the one who read the book. Well, I am still reading it and I won’t let him have it before I finish it. I put the piece of paper with him name and phone number on it under the book. So I continue my work. Few hours passes…
I heard somebody calling my name. I look up and I saw James standing in front of me with his torch light. James is a security at the library. He always work night shift.
‘Well, gene. You still working? Don’t you know what time is now?’
I look at him with my blur face. I look at my watch. And it shows 8.30pm. Whoa!! Man!! I didn’t realize that the time is late already. I smile at him,
‘Okay James. I am off now. But promise me that you will take care of this place will you?’
He laugh and
‘Well miss, I will. Don’t you worry about this place. All this books will be safe with me’
I laugh when I heard he said that. He always says that every time I told him to take care of the library. You see…the library used to be broken last year. Most of the books that have been kept in the library more than 50 yrs ago have been stolen. That really pissed me off. The police manage to catch the thief but still can’t find the books that they have stolen. They said that they’ve sold it. The police lost track. I really disappointed with the police. So I pack my things and leave. My phone ring. I look at it and it was a call from Oli.
‘Man!! Where have you been? I’ve been try to call you since 7pm.’
‘I just come out from the library. I didn’t realize that the time is 8pm just now, until James come up.’
We chat for a while. And I hung up the phone. The night was so beautiful. The moon was so bright. Not so many people walking that night. I feel so hungry. So I decided to drop by at McDonalds’ to buy some food. After a while I hid back to my apartment. After finish taking my shower I sit in front of the TV while having my dinner. The clock shows the time is almost 12 midnite. No wonder I felt so sleepy.
Feel so nice once I laid my body on my bed. Before that, I’ve set my alarm clock. Automatically, I just fall asleep.
After a while, I felt that some one touch my fore head. I try to open my eyes but I can’t. Even that I try really hard to open it but still. I can feel that his finger run thru my face and touch my lips. I still can feel the finger touch my face and after a few second I fall in a deep sleep.
‘RINGGGGGGG!!!!!!’ my alarm clock ring. Gosh!! I felt my sleep too short that night. I lay for a while. I feel so strange that morning. I wonder why. I look around my room and suddenly my eyes stop at my dressing table. There’s a flower on the top of it. Quickly I get up from my bed and walk slowly to my dressing table. I took it and smell the flower. It was white lily. Nice smell. Plus it’s my favorite flower. I wonder who put it there. And plus, how did he come inside without I notice it. It really puzzles me. I check my things in case that they might stole something from me. But hey, what kind of thief that leave a flower after they broke into some one houses. Really funny huh? But then, nothing is missing. I thank god for that. But this flower thing still bothering me. I just leave it there on my dressing table. So I get ready to work.

I laugh when I heard he said that. He always says that every time I told him to take care of the library. You see…the library used to be broken last year. Most of the books that have been kept in the library more than 50 yrs ago have been stolen. That really pissed me off. The police manage to catch the thief but still can’t find the books that they have stolen. They said that they’ve sold it. The police lost track. I really disappointed with the police. So I pack my things and leave. My phone ring. I look at it and it was a call from Oli.
‘Man!! Where have you been? I’ve been try to call you since 7pm.’
‘I just come out from the library. I didn’t realize that the time is 8pm just now, until James come up.’
We chat for a while. And I hung up the phone. The night was so beautiful. The moon was so bright. Not so many people walking that night. I feel so hungry. So I decided to drop by at McDonalds’ to buy some food. After a while I hid back to my apartment. After finish taking my shower I sit in front of the TV while having my dinner. The clock shows the time is almost 12 midnite. No wonder I felt so sleepy.
Feel so nice once I laid my body on my bed. Before that, I’ve set my alarm clock. Automatically, I just fall asleep.
After a while, I felt that some one touch my fore head. I try to open my eyes but I can’t. Even that I try really hard to open it but still. I can feel that his finger run thru my face and touch my lips. I still can feel the finger touch my face and after a few second I fall in a deep sleep.
‘RINGGGGGGG!!!!!!’ my alarm clock ring. Gosh!! I felt my sleep too short that night. I lay for a while. I feel so strange that morning. I wonder why. I look around my room and suddenly my eyes stop at my dressing table. There’s a flower on the top of it. Quickly I get up from my bed and walk slowly to my dressing table. I took it and smell the flower. It was white lily. Nice smell. Plus it’s my favorite flower. I wonder who put it there. And plus, how did he come inside without I notice it. It really puzzles me. I check my things in case that they might stole something from me. But hey, what kind of thief that leave a flower after they broke into some one houses. Really funny huh? But then, nothing is missing. I thank god for that. But this flower thing still bothering me. I just leave it there on my dressing table. So I get ready to work.

night creature (part 1)
I decided to go to sleep early tonight. I feel so tired and sleepy. I don’t know what I did until I can’t stand it anymore. So tonight I have to skip to watch my favorite TV show that will be start at 11.00 pm every Friday night. I was in deep sleep until suddenly I felt something rubbing and sniffing my wrist. So I open my eyes slowly and I was so surprise to see there is one tall dark figure standing beside me. Watching me while I am asleep. When I open my eyes wide, then poof….he’s not there anymore. All I can see my curtain blowing in the wind. So I quickly run to my bedroom balcony and see if he still there. To my surprise, he’s not there anymore. So I was wondering, who the hell is he or THAT? I was standing there for almost 10 minute try to figure out how he clied up to my room. And I am so sure that I already close my sliding door. And still I can’t figure out that how he can come up here. I was staying in 12th floor apartment. While I was standing at the balcony, I can see the moon was shining so bright that night. Full moon….it’s so beautiful. I can feel the cold wind blow over my body. It makes me so cold. So I go into my room and continue my sleep.
My alarm clock started to ring at 8.00 am. Wah!! I felt so lazy to wake up that morning. Oh!! I have to go to work. Do I have to go to work?? Oh yes, gene.. I am talking to my self while I am walking to my bathroom. I work as a librarian at the library, 3 blocks from my apartment. I love my job. It’s because I loves to read book. That morning is like ordinary morning. I stop by at the Starbucks to buy drink and some cake so that I can have breakfast with my friend, Oliv, at the park. We always do that. We take turn to buy drinks and some cakes and we will have a breakfast together at the park. She’s already there waiting for me. I can see her smile when she sees me walking towards her.
‘What take you so long, gene?’
‘I am late?? I don’t think so.’
I look at my watch and it shows 9.05am.
‘Oh come on!! I am only late for 5 minutes. You are the one that come early. I am the one that always waiting for you. Remember?’
She looks at me and blushing. We laugh together. So we had our breakfast. While we eat our breakfast, suddenly I remember the thing that happens to me last night.
‘Babe, guess what happen to me last night?’
She looks at me with her puzzle face.
‘I don’t know. Why don’t you tell me then?’
So I tell her everything from the beginning until the end.
She looks at me with her stunned face.
‘You got to be kidding me gene. No way would this thing happen’
I look at her.
‘So, you try to tell me that I make up this story?’
She look away and drink her coffee and
‘Well, I think you must be dreaming.’
‘Huh! Yeah right!’
So we talked about something else. Its 15 minutes to 10.00 am.
‘Well, Oli. I think we have to make a move.’
‘Okay. See you next Saturday then.’
I smile at her,
‘And don’t forget that next Saturday is you turn to buy us a breakfast.’
‘Don’t worry. I will not forget’
So we walk in a different direction.
